KABUL candidates were pressuring the power distribution company to provide 24 hours electricity to their regions as part of their campaign.
According to the Independent Election Commission (IEC), the electoral campaign for the Oct 20 Wolesi Jirga will continue for 11 more days.
Amanullah Ghalib, DABS director, told at a press conference here that electricity was being politicized by some candidates.
He did not name of anyone but said some Wolesi Jirga candidates had been bringing pressure on them to provide 24 hours power to their places.
