Man killed, 2 children injured in Khost blast

KHOST (Pajhwok): One person was killed and two children injured in a bomb blast in the capital of southeastern Khost province on Friday.

Police spokesman Adil Haider said the blast took place in the second police district of Khost city at about 1pm.

He said the sticky bomb had been attached to a vehicle. The blast killed the driver and two passing by children.

Adil said the driver was a civilian and had no government job.

There was no claim of responsibility for the blast.
