Plan on anvil for segregated university education

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Higher Education has asked all relevant institutions to share their plans for separate classes for boys and girls and attracting new students, considering their facilities.

Closed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and recent developments, all government and private universities will reopen on September 6 (Monday).

On Saturday, the ministry’s senior official Sheikh Abdul Baqi Haqqani met finance, administration and student affairs heads, directors of central and provincial universities.

The meeting decided officials of higher educational institutes would consider their facilities, teach students in segregated classrooms and devise plans for enrolling new students.
