KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan Consulate General in Karachi has assured Afghan students in the city that it will provide legal assistance to address their concerns following Pakistan’s deadline for the deportation of Afghans.

In a statement, the consulate said its acting consul general, Mawlawi Sayed Abdul Jabbar Takhari, had met with a number of Afghan students at the government-run Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Dow hospitals.

During the meeting, the students expressed concerns about the impact of Pakistan’s recent deportation deadline on their practical training and education.

Takhari assured the students that the Afghan Consulate General would spare no effort to provide legal assistance and find a solution to their concerns.
