Dr. Osama Aziz appointed as Kabul University chancellor

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) has appointed Dr. Osama Aziz as new chancellor of the Kabul University and said he would be introduced to his post soon.

Hailing from Nangarhar province Dr. Aziz received his doctorate degree from Pakistan’s International Islamic University in Commercial Law and jurisprudence.

He also served as a teacher in the Islamic University and Al Fajar Institute.

Earlier, MoHE had appointed Mohammad Ashraf Ghairat as acting Chancellor of Kabul University. He was graduated from the journalism faculty of the same institution.
