Muttaqi meets Qatar’s social development minister

KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has invited Qatar’s Minister of Social Development Mariam Al-Misnad to visit Afghanistan.

Muttaqi and Al-Misnad held a meeting in Doha. Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, acting minister of information, was also present at the meeting.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman for the MoFA, tweeted Muttaqi invited the Qatari minister to visit Afghanistan.

Muttaqi also sought assistance for orphans and women in Afghanistan through Qatari donor foundations.

The meeting decided that a Qatar delegation would visit Afghanistan and open donor agencies and help needy individuals.
