Afghanistan wants good ties with EU: Hanafi

KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi has said the caretaker government of Afghanistan wants good interaction and positive relations with the European Union and as well as with the world at large.

Chargé d’Affaires of EU Delegation to Afghanistan Arnout Pauwels paid a farewell call on Hanafi in Kabul, the deputy premier’s office tweeted on Thursday

Powells voiced his pleasure on completing his seven-year mission in Afghanistan. He his coworker would continue her job in Afghanistan.

Hanafi said: “Seven years is long time, I wish you take along good memories about Afghanistan and we will continue to work with your successor.”

According to Hanafi, the interim Afghan government wants positive relations and interaction with the world, including the EU. He hoped for international investments in different sectors of Afghanistan’s economy.

He assured the EU diplomat the Islamic Emirate would further step up security of investors and provide them all possible facilities.
