Azizi inaugurates $1.2m flour mill in Herat

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has announced the inauguration of a flour mill in western Herat province.

Commerce Minister Nooruddin Azizi inaugurated the mill called Koban Hari Wheat Factory in Herat.

Located in the first phase of Herat Industrial Park, the mill was built at a cost of $1.2 million, the ministry tweeted.

It wrote the factory, with the capacity of producing 180 tonnes of flour daily, would directly and indirectly create work opportunities for about 700 people.
