KABUL (Pajhwok): About 2,430 Afghan refugees have returned to the country from neighboring Iran and Pakistan in the past three days, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said on Saturday.
On its twitter handle, MoRR wrote that 2,137 Afghans returned from Iran and 293 from Pakistan in the past three days.
It said 508 of the returnees were introduced to the International Organization for Migration for assistance.
Meanwhile, 293 Afghan refugees who returned from Pakistan via Spin Boldak crossing were also introduced to IOM, UNHCR for receiving support and those sick received treatment by Healthnet organization.
