KABUL (Pajhwok): The Cabinet has decided to establish workplaces for sorting, loading, unloading, processing and packaging of coal in five provinces.
The Administrative Affairs Office wrote on its Twitter page on Saturday that acting Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir presided over a meeting of the Cabinet on Tuesday.
“The General Directorate of Administrative Affairs should send the summary of the report of the Land Clearing Delegation to the Land Grab Prevention Commission, based on which workplaces for unloading, loading, processing and packaging of coal should be established in Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Nangarhar and Kandahar provinces.”
The meeting also decided that the Salary Regulation Commission should investigate the Ministry of Finance’s demand regarding the transfer of additional vehicles with ministries and departments to the state-owned national bus company and decide accordingly.
“The cabinet also tasked the administrative commission with taking necessary decision about medical equipment left behind by foreign occupation forces in military bases after a complete evaluation of the investigative report.”
Without giving details, the source said the Economic Commission was tasked with professional evaluation of the Ministry of Water and Power’s plan to create secretariat for the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan electricity transmission line project.
Afghan and Turkmen officials have agreed to hold a tripartite meeting involving Pakistan in order to implement TAP project.
