TALOQAN (Pajhwok): The first round of Takhar Full Razam competition between 50 players from the provincial capital and district begins amid at exploring the best and quality athletes, an official said on Tuesday.
Ahmad Zia Haqjoy, deputy head of the Takhar Sport Department, said the competition is held between 50 players from the provincial capital and districts.
The purpose of competition was to identify best players and provide them the platform for international competitions.
Hafeezullah Amami, head of the Full Razam Competition in the province, told Pajhwok Afghan News their players suffered problems due to the lack of support from concerned officials.
He said players in all competitions paid from their own pocket and government gave no attention to address players problems.
Athletes also hailed the convention of the competition and stressed over support from government officials.
Ahmad Paiman, one of the players who beat his rival, said now the security situation has improved and players could participate in competitions without any security threat.
