PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): About 68 projects concerning education have been completed at a cost of 41 million afghanis and put into service in central Logar province.
Director of Education Maulvi Janat Gul Aziz told a press conference in Pul-i-Alam City that the projects were completed with the help of the Ministry of Education, domestic and international institutions and charities.
Aziz added the projects included reconstruction of schools, construction of clean drinking water networks in schools, boundary walls and provision of educational materials to students of some schools.
He also added: "This year, 68 large and small projects have been implemented in the field of education in Pul-i-Alam city and districts at a cost of 41 million afghanis.”
Abdul Baqi, a resident of Pul-i-Alam, told Pajhwok that he was happy that dozens of construction projects had been implemented by the Department of Education in Logar province.
He said students were facing many problems and the implementation of such projects would resolve some of their problems.
