KABUL (Pajhwok): Armless Afghan Paralympic swimmer Abbas Karimi has won a silver medal in the Paris Paralympic Games.
Karimi announced his triumph on his Facebook page. He covered 4x50 metres in two minutes and 18 seconds and finished second, bagging a silver medal.
China won the first place in the competition.
Meanwhile, an Afghan Para taekwondo athlete, Zakia Khodadadi won a bronze medal in the Paris Paralympics on Friday.
In April this year, Karimi had won a gold medal in the World Series in the United States of America.
