UNHCR and the Amnesty International last week demanded a halt to forced deportation of Afghan refugees from Iran and Pakistan.

Senior officials from Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Britain and the head of the Muslim World League visited Kabul last week, when a large number of refugees returned from Iran, Tajikistan and Pakistan.

Last week, the OIC expressed concern over the forced deportation of Afghan refugees.  Officials said a plan was being developed to expand economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Russia.
