Construction work has been started on three water supply networks that will cost over 18 million afghanis and provide safe drinking water to more than 700 families upon completion in western Ghor province.

Construction work on buildings for 14 schools has been completed and the facilities put into use with financial support from the Ministry of Education and international organizations in central Logar province.

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Local officials in southern Ghazni say construction work on both sides of the Kabul-Kandahar highway has begun in central area of the province.

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Three road concreting projects have been completed at a cost of 24 million afghanis and put into use in Ghazni province, an official said on Sunday.

Construction work on two iron-concrete bridges has been launched in central Daikundi province with financial contributions from local residents and philanthropists worth more than two million afghanis.

Work has begun on 343 development projects worth one billion afghanis in districts along the Durand Line to help address local challenges, the Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs (MoBTA) said on Sunday.
