Some residents of the capital of northern Faryab province have demanded of the government to complete a 33-kilometre road project.

Reconstruction work has begun on a 41-kilometer road linking the center of southern Ghazni province with neighboring Paktika.

Construction work has been started on three water supply networks that will cost over 18 million afghanis and provide safe drinking water to more than 700 families upon completion in western Ghor province.

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Local officials in southern Ghazni say construction work on both sides of the Kabul-Kandahar highway has begun in central area of the province.

About 98 development projects worth around 158 million afghanis have been completed and put into service in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Thursday.

Construction work has been initiated on a cricket stadium and academy at a cost of 9.5 million afghanis in the capital of northern Baghlan province, the game’s regularity authority announced on Wednesday.

Construction work has been initiated on 17 development projects at a cost of 55 million afghanis in Anaba and Abshar districts of central Panjsher province.

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Three road concreting projects have been completed at a cost of 24 million afghanis and put into use in Ghazni province, an official said on Sunday.
