Taliban gun down runaway woman, boy in Ghor

FIROZKHO (Pajhwok): Taliban province on Wednesday, an official said.

Shah Pasand Pehalvi, acting Shahrak district administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the victims were heading to the provincial capiital, Firozkoh from Dolina district when Taliban militants captured them in Shahrak district and killed them.

He said the woman was married and had eloped with a man who held a military position in the district police headquarters.

The Taliban have not yet commented about the incident.
