13 Taliban killed, 20 wounded in Ghor clashes

FIROZKOH (Pajhwok): More than a dozen Taliban province, an official said on Thursday.

Abdul Sami Nezhad, acting police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that 20 other rebels were wounded in the separate but near simultaneous attacks.

The insurgents stormed the Saghar district center late on Wednesday night. Ten Taliban militants were killed in the nighttime clash.

Separately, three Taliban gunmen were killed and 10 others wounded during clashes with security forces and uprising members in Firozkoh city, the provincial capital, late on Wednesday night.

Four uprising men were also wounded in the nighttime attack, he added.
