SHARAN (PAN): Four militants, including their commander, were killed and as many others injured during an airstrike by foreign troops in southeastern Paktika province on Tuesday, an official said.

A resident of the area said on condition of anonymity that five Taliban fighters were killed and their commander wounded along with four others. Tribal elders shifted the rebels’ bodies from the scene, he added.
Meanwhile, the NATO-led force confirmed the airstrike, saying that several insurgents were killed in the attack. Weapons, two motorcycles, propaganda materials and a video camera were recovered from the militants, an ISAF statement said.
