JALALABAD (PAN): A man was killed and a dozen others were injured in a suicide attack in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, on Monday afternoon.
An official at police headquarters, Abdullah Talwar, told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomber blew himself up in front of the Radio Television Afghanistan (TRA) office at the Pukhtunistan Square of the city at around 3:30 pm.
A number of civilians and policemen were injured in the incident, but he had no exact figure, Talwar added.
One dead body and 12 injured people have been brought to the Jalalabad Civil Hospital, according to a doctor on duty, Afandi Agha. He did not say anything about the condition of the wounded people.
