CHARIKAR): A snow avalanche killed three people and injured a fourth in the Sheikh Ali district of central Parwan province on Sunday, an official said.
The incident took place in Dara-i-Potian area. The victims were returning from a wedding when buried in heavy snow, the district chief, Noor Aga Sami, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The dead included two women and a man. A third woman was injured in the incident confirmed by the governor’s spokesman, Roshna Khali, who promised assistance to the bereaved families.
