QUETTA (PAN’s southwestern Balochistan province on Friday, officials said.
The blast occurred in a crowded intersection in Dera Allahyar area of Jaffarabad district, the town’s police chief told reporters. The dead included two children.
Dr Muhammad Salim, deputy medical superintendent, said the victims were brought to the District Head Quarters Hospital. Nearly two dozen people were wounded, some critically.
A dozen shops were damaged by the bomb that had been planted on a rickshaw. The district police chief said the device contained 20 kilograms of explosives.
