The outlawed Lashkar-i-Islam group militants were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in struck improvised explosive device (IED) in the Sipah area of Bara sub-district.
Dawn quoted local security officials as saying the vehicle belonged to a Lashkar-i-Islam commander, Shams, who was not on board at the time of the explosion.
