ANA vehicle recovered; 2 militants killed

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security personnel have recovered an Afghan National Army (ANA) Ranger pickup from militants in western Farah province, officials said on Monday.

Brig. Gen. Muhammad Razzaq Yaqubi, the Farah police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the militants had snatched the ANA vehicle some two months back. It was recovered the other day.

In a separate incident in northern Badghis province, security forces killed two militants in a firefight. Muhammad Qayyum Angar, the Badghis police chief, said the insurgents were killed in the Sang Atesh area of Maqur district.
