KABUL (Pajhwok): Refugee and Repatriation Minister Syed Hussain Alemi Balkhi assessed the registration process of Afghan refugees returning from Iran during a visit to the border town of Islam Qala in western Herat province.
In a statement, the Refugee and Repatriation Ministry said Balkhi stressed transparency in international aid for the returnees and further cooperation with them.
Islam Qala is 120 kilometres west of Herat City and is considered the biggest point for all Afghan refugees returning from Iran.
