ZARANJ (Pajhwok): A primary school has been rehabilitated and reopened after remaining closed for four decades in southwestern Nimroz province, enabling more than 200 girls and boys to get education, an official said on Thursday.
Local officials say the school located in Manar village of Khashrod district was closed in 1971 after residents of the area were displaced as a result of war and insecurity.
The school having 10 classrooms was rehabilitated by local residents to help 220 students including 60 girls get education.
