This was stated by UNDP administrator Helen Clark during a meeting with Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah, a statement from the CEO’s office said.
The meeting between Abdullah and Clark discussed strengthening local governance in Afghanistan and finding donors to financially support the country’s parliamentary elections.
Clark said Afghanistan had achieved significant development during the past few years and hoped they would contribute to the development with continued and further assistance.
