KABUL (Pajhwok): The price of gold decreased and of daily-use items remained unchanged during the outgoing week in capital Kabul, market sources said on Thursday.
Mohammad Sami Raouf, a jeweler in Shar-i-Naw city of Kabul, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the price of one gram of Arabia gold edged down from 2,100 afghanis to 2,050 afghanis and the same quantity of the Russian variety from 1,750afs to 1,700afs. He linked the decline in gold price to international trends.
