GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Six hundred students in the Gilan district of southern Ghazni province have only two teachers, residents of the area said on Saturday.
Mohammad Pazeer, a primary schoolteacher and resident of Shenkai area, told Pajhwok Afghan News he alone taught 500 students. The school where he is posted is faced with multiple problems.
Only three textbooks are available for students. “I am alone here teaching a large number of students because the ministry concerned is sending teachers, who must work here, to other school,” he lamented.
