JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three officers of the education department were sentenced to six months in jail by an anti-corruption court in eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, an official said.
The governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News the officials were handed out the sentences at the end of an open trial by Judge Najibullah Frotan.
He said Education Director Allah Dad Ismailzai and other officials of the department also presented their views and information.
