PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): All Afghan refugees must be repatriated before a population census is held in southwestern Balochistan province, a Baloch nationalist party has said.
At a meeting, the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) said it would not accept a census in Balochistan until the four million refugees in the province were sent back to their homeland.
“We will not accept any census in the present circumstances... such an exercise is tantamount to turning the Baloch population into a minority,” the party’s central committee said in a meeting on Tuesday.
