KABUL ambassador over shelling of eastern parts of the country and closure of Torkham and Chaman borders.
A statement from MoFA said Ambassador Ibrar Hussain was summoned to the ministry by Deputy Foreign Minister Hekmat Khalil Karzai on Friday afternoon after reports of cross-border incursions.
Karzai expressed his condolences over the recent suicide bombings at a Sufi shrine in the Sindh province of Pakistan. He said the Afghans -- themselves victims of such attacks --- could better realize the anguish and shock of the Pakistanis.
