KABUL (Pajhwok): The government on Sunday said it had launched investigation into Friday’s deadly attack on the 209th Shaheen Military Corps in northern Balkh province.
Acting spokesman to the president, Shah Hussain Murtazavi, told a press conference here that information about the attack would be shared with people after the fact-finding commission tasked with investigating the incident completed its work.
“If a commander or any official of the corps is somehow involved or had committed negligence will be taken to task,” he said.
