JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Hundreds of tribal elders held a huge gathering in the border town of Torkham in eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday, calling on Pakistan.
Tribal elders across the border in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province had been invited to attend the gathering but they were not allowed by Pakistani forces.
The elders, who had gathered in Torkham, said tribes living on both sides of the Durand Line were the same and Pakistan’s attempts to separate them were useless.
