KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) on Monday signed three contracts for construction of a road in capital Kabul and two bridges in central Kapisa and northern Baghlan provinces, an official said.
Deputy Public Works Minister Niamatullah Haidari signed the contracts with representatives of three private construction companies in Kabul.
Haidari said the projects, a joint venture of the Afghan government and Japan, would cost 220 million afghanis.
