KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): The closure of the Spin-Boldak-Chaman border crossing between Afghanistan has brought to a halt people’s movement as well as trade activity.
Pakistan closed the border crossing after a deadly clash between border guards of the two countries on May 5. The clash erupted after a Pakistani census team visited two villages on the border.
The border closure entered a 22nd day on Tuesday. People, due to unavoidable urgency, travel on foot for hours on traditional routes between the two countries.
