KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Date expired and low quality medicines, food products and alcoholic beverages weighing four tons were set alight at an official event in southeastern Khost province on Thursday.
Governor Hakam Khan Habibi, who attended the event, told Pajhwok Afghan News the expired medicines and food products had been confiscated from markets in the provincial capital, Khost City.
He said the campaign against such products would continue and the public health department had been asked to prevent selling expired drugs and food items in the bazaar . . .
