TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Work on five development projects was launched in Tirinkot, the capital of central Uruzgan province, on Thursday, the governor said.
Mohammad Nazir Kharotai told the projects’ inauguration ceremony that four of the schemes would be implemented by the provincial Agriculture and Livestock Department and one by the Revenue Department.
Funded by the Ministry of Finance, the projects were estimated to cost 14.1 million afghanis, said the governor.
He informed about construction of two retaining walls and two irrigation canals in Garmab Manda . . .
