KABUL (Pajhwok): Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met his Afghan counterpart Salahuddin Rabbani on issues of common interest in Beijing on Monday.
Rabbani is currently in Beijing to attend a three-way meeting with his Chinese and Pakistani foreign ministers.
Calling Afghanistan an important partner in the Belt and Road Initiative, Wang said China hoped to synergise its development strategy for Afghanistan and expand bilateral cooperation.
