KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Kandahar Governor Zalmai Weesa has appealed to the UN and donor countries to help construct a township for refugee families in the southern province.
He made the appeal during a meeting with Toby Lanzer, the UN chief’s deputy special representative for Afghanistan, at the governor’s house on Wednesday.
Weesa briefed the UNAMA representative about problems plaguing the education sectors and the return of refugees in Kandahar.
