KABUL (Pajhwok): The foundation stone of a building for a maternity section at the Indira Gandhi Children’s Hospital was laid on Monday in Kabul, an official said.
Public Health Minister Firozuddin Firoz, who attended the ceremony, said the maternity ward would help cure some complex children’s diseases in order families avoid sending their ailing kids abroad for treatment.
The minister the 100-bed maternity section would be turned into a research and treatment center of mothers . . .
