KABUL’s national security advisor (NSA) Hanif Atmar has sought help from China in establishing “a well-equipped mountain bridge”, a statement from the NSA office said Saturday.
Atmar, who is on a two-day official visit to China, held a meeting with Chinese Army Chief Li Zuocheng and other high-ranking military officials, the statement said, adding China assured of cooperation in equipping the Afghan armed forces.
Atmar hailed China’s military cooperation with Afghanistan and termed it vital in the fight against terrorism.
