BEIJING (Pajhwok): China has welcomed Afghanistan and said peace was the only suitable option to end current conflict in Afghanistan, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said on Tuesday.
Deputy Foreign Minister Hekmat Khalil Karzai has traveled to China and held meetings with Chines Foreign Secretary Kong Xuanyou, the statement said.
