KABUL (Pajhwok): The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says it has helped over 6,600 Afghan families maintain contact with their relatives in prison this year.
Representatives of the humanitarian organisation also visited more than 27,000 detainees to ensure they were treated with dignity, an ICRC statement said on Monday.
As part of its Physical Rehabilitation Programme, more than 150,000 patients received treatment at one of the seven Rehabilitation Centres across Afghanistan.
