KABUL Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad on Saturday briefed President Ashraf Ghani on the outcome of his swing through the region, the Presidential Palace said.
During his trip to the region, Khalilzad met top officials in Afghanistan, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar and Saudi Arabai. He returned to Kabul on Saturday.
The meeting at Presidential Palace was also attended by 2nd Vice President Sarwar Danish and CEO Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, a statement from Ghani’s office said.
