KABUL (Pajhwok): Hundreds of angry protestors on Tuesday blocked entrances to the governor’s house in northern Jwazjan province and threatened to close all key roads if Abdul Qadir Malia is not introduced as new deputy governor.
Supporters of Malia set the government a three-day deadline until Saturday to introduce Malia as new deputy governor or they would permanently close the governor’ house.
Mukhi Bai, a protestor, told Pajhwok Afghan News they would launch huge protests if their demand was not met.
