NELLI (Pajhwok): A pregnant woman in the Eshterli district of central Daikundi province has died due to the lack of facility in the district clinic and blockade of roads, an official said on Sunday.
Public Health Director Eshaq Ali Darman told Pajhwok Afghan News a pregnant woman died as there was no adequate facilities and midwife in the Eshterli Clinic and the blockade of road leading to Nelli, the provincial capital.
Family member of the victim could not be reach for contact.
