KABUL and the extension of UNAMA’s mandate.
On March 15, China voted in favour of the resolution on the technical extension of the UNAMA mandate at the United Nations Security Council.
At a meeting here with UNAMA head Tadamichi Yamamoto; Chinese Ambassador Liu Jinsong said his country should not take any responsibility for the technical extension of UNAMA mandate for 6 months.
However, he explained, it is all because of the stubborn position of one UNSC member, which rejected the Security Council consensus . . .
