KABUL has been killed and five others injured during security forces raid and airstrike in northern Kunduz and northwestern Badshis provinces, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Tuesday.
Thirty Taliban were killed and five others injured during Afghan commandoes raid in the Sorkh Ab village of Kunduz City, the provincial capital, the MoD said on its social media handler.
Six more Taliban were killed during security forces operation in the Kakar village of Kunuz city. Nine Taliban were arrested, 1 vehicle, 8 RPGs and 8 IEDs were destroyed during the raid.
“Ten Taliban, including Zaralam known as Mullah Gulbodin one of the Taliban tactical commander were killed during airstrikes with the support of Resolute Support in the past 24 hours around the Bala Murghab district in Badghais province,” the MoD said in a tweet.
