KABUL Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad has gone to Washington instead of Doha, the capital of Qatar.
Khalilzad was expected to hold the sixth round of peace talks with Taliban representatives in Qatar on April 15.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also said that the negotiations in the Gulf country would take place on Monday (yesterday).
